Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban were burgled on Valentine’s Day, police have said.

The LAPD responded to a break-in at their home on February 14 at around 8pm local time. Neither of the couple were at home during that time.

According to KTLA, a security guard told investigators that the intruder smashed a glass door to gain entry and “ransacked the home” before fleeing. It’s still unknown what, if anything, was taken from the Beverly Crest property.

A similar incident occurred at the home of Los Angeles Football Club player Olivier Giroud earlier this month. Police say $500,000 worth of items from his home, including watches, were stolen on February 5 when his home was burgled. Similarly, the culprit broke into the property by smashing a window. It’s currently unclear if the two incidents are related.

Kidman and Urban have been married since 2006 and share two children.

Kidman recently made an acclaimed return to the screen as the star of the erotic thriller Babygirl.

In a four-star review of Babygirl, NME said: “This isn’t a perfect film, but it is a funny, fascinating one with terrific performances from Kidman – surely the bravest A-lister around – and Dickinson as an inscrutable wildcard. You’ll submit to Babygirl’s machinations willingly and thrillingly.”

In December, she revealed that she almost quit acting for good in 2008 after the birth of her first child. If she had gone ahead with it, her last film would have likely been Baz Luhrmann‘s epic romance drama Australia.

Kidman said, reflecting on wanting to focus on her family full-time: “When I gave birth to Sunday I was like, ‘Well, I think I’m pretty much done now’. We were living on a farm, and that’s when my mother said, ‘I wouldn’t give up completely. Keep a finger sort of in it.’ And I’m like, ‘No, no. I’m done now. I’m done.’ She’s going, ‘Just listen to me. Keep moving forward. Not saying that you have to do it to the level you’ve been doing it, but I wouldn’t give it up completely.’”
