Nintendo Switch Online GameCube games – every confirmed title so far
Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack is getting a new benefit: GameCube games. We have an impressive list of initial launch games and games coming to the service after it releases on June 5, 2025, alongside the Nintendo Switch 2.
Here is a full breakdown of the Nintendo Switch Online GameCube games. Keep in mind that Gamecube games will only be accessible on Nintendo Switch 2. If you have an original Switch, you won’t be able to play these games, even if you own the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
Nintendo Switch Online GameCube games
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (June 5, 2025)
- Soul Calibur II (June 5, 2025)
- F-Zero GX (June 5, 2025)
- Super Mario Sunshine
- Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance
- Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness
- Super Mario Strikers
- Chibi-Robo! Plug Into Adventure
- Luigi’s Mansion
- Pokemon Colosseum
On top of these games, you can also buy a Nintendo GameCube controller for the Nintendo Switch 2 if you are a Nintendo Switch Online member. More games will be added as time goes on regularly, so we will keep this guide updated as new games are announced later this year.
Keep in mind, there are some big omissions here, including games like Super Smash Bros. Melee, which many thought would be included in this lineup. Therefore, there is a lot Nintendo can do with the service to add more value as time goes on. GameCube is known for a number of huge game releases, including Mario Kart: Double-Dash, Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Super Mario Sunshine, Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes, Pikmin, Pikmin 2, NFL Street, TimeSplitters, and more.
So, keep an eye out for some huge releases as we get further into 2025 and move into 2026.
