Nova Twins announce third album ‘Parasites & Butterflies’ with fierce new single ‘Soprano’
Nova Twins have shared details of a new album called ‘Parasites & Butterflies’. Check out the new single ‘Soprano’ and new tour dates below.
The new LP is set for release on August 29 via Marshall, and will mark the third record from the electrifying rock duo. Visit here to pre-order or pre-save the release.
It was recorded in Vermont alongside legendary producer Rich Costey, and is set to be “a bold exploration of contrasts—chaos and beauty—blending raw intensity with their signature boundary-pushing creativity”, according to a new press release.
Today (March 10), the group have shared a teaser of the record in the form of ‘Soprano’. The track comes as an unwavering, intense preview of the album and blends R&B and rock to create an anthem of empowerment.
“‘Soprano’ is a celebration of the power of women, especially when we unite,” Nova Twins explained. “The industry often pits women against each other, and women’s voices are silenced worldwide. But we are still shouting from the rooftops! This song aims to empower, encourage connection, and promote friendship, spreading ‘boss energy’ and lifting each other up.”
Check it out below.
As for the record as a whole, the motif comes as an exploration of the grey area between “chaos and beauty”, and is set to see both Amy Love and Georgia South take a more vulnerable approach than previously seen.
“‘Parasites & Butterflies’ is about the bridge between chaos and beauty, embracing and accepting both sides,” they explained. “‘Supernova’ was about being superhuman in a time when we needed to be. With ‘Parasites & Butterflies’, we wanted to showcase something deeply human: how vulnerability can be as empowering as it is revealing in its honesty.”
“By playing with opposites, light and shade, you can feel a contrast throughout the album,” they added. “You’ll find songs that make you want to dance, cry, self-reflect, or even escape. Life is a constant balancing act, but the thrill of the unknown is what makes us feel truly alive.”

The new album announcement from Nova Twins comes as the duo recently returned with their first new track in more than two years, ‘Monsters’. Upon its release, the duo spoke to NME about their “chaotic but beautiful” upcoming album.
“There are so many different flavours, so expect a journey,” teased Georgia South. “There’s a lot of light and shade. It’s also a very honest album.”
Amy Love agreed: “We weren’t chasing specific sounds, we just did whatever felt most exciting. We weren’t scared about where that went either. There are songs like ‘Monsters’ but there’s also a lot of fun as well.”
