As we say “Bye Bye Bye” to the summer season and hello to cool weather, The Children’s Place wants us to get in the holiday spirit with the help of *NSYNC’s Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, along with Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean and Boyz II Men member Wanya Morris. The newest campaign from the kids apparel brand titled “An Iconic Holiday Part 1” is the first in a three-part series that will combine music, fashion and family.
Expect a mix of matching holiday pajamas as well as picture-ready looks that’ll have you and your family ready for holiday cards, family gatherings and more. Oh, and did we mention they’re all approved by the ’90s boyband icons?
“When I got the call from The Children’s Place on this opportunity, I knew it would be a hit,” said Fatone in a press statement. “All of us guys have evolved from boy band members to dads and our fans have supported us throughout it all. It is truly incredible to be able to show our fans, who are now parents themselves, a side of us that they haven’t seen before. Plus, how often do you see four boy band members reunite as the ultimate ‘Dad Band’, wearing matching pajamas?! It’s iconic.”
The brand announced the new campaign on Instagram with a video of the stars showing off the different outfits with their kids and family.
“THIS. IS. ICONIC. We’re officially kicking off an iconic holiday season campaign w/ a celebrity guest list that’ll be music to your ears… first up? Boy Band icons @wanyamorris, @realjoeyfatone, @lancebass, @aj_mclean + their kids!!!” the caption said.
Bass especially enjoyed working with the brand as it allowed him the opportunity to combine multiple passions while getting the rare chance to work with his family.
“Fusing my love of family, fashion and music for this campaign was everything,” said Bass in a press statement. “The Children’s Place is such a strong household name, it was incredible working with them, AJ, Joey, and Wanya on this. I’ll cherish the relationships I have with the guys on-and-off the stage forever. Plus, it’s not often that I get to work with my kids, so being able to spend the day with them matching in The Children’s Place’s cutest festive fashion was such a treat.”
