Oasis announce 2025 South American reunion tour dates: “The brothers are coming”

Oasis have announced the South American leg of their 2025 reunion world tour – you can find all the details below.

Liam and Noel Gallagher will play their first live shows together since 2009 next summer, kicking off with huge stadium gigs in the UK and Ireland. From there, the Britpop band are due to head to North America before returning for two extra dates at London’s Wembley Stadium in late September. Then, they’ll head to Australia for shows in Melbourne and Sydney.

Now, it’s been announced that they’ll be making their highly-awaited return to South America after 16 years. In late November, Oasis will play shows in Argentina, Chile and Brazil between November 15-23. You can find a full list of dates and venues further below.

Alongside the announcement, Oasis have shared a message for fans in each of the three countries. They’ve told Argentinian fans: “People of the great nation of Argentina. Oasis are coming home to The River Plate. Be there.”

To fans in Brazil, they said: “People of Brazil. Carnival has come early. Fix up. Look sharp. Oasis will see you soon.” And, for their Chilean audience, they added: “People of Chile get ready, the brothers are coming.”

NME exclusively revealed that Oasis would be heading to South America in a report last month. The article also listed upcoming appearances in other international territories such as Australia, which was announced last month, as well as South Korea and Japan.

The band previously confirmed that their 2025 UK and Ireland dates would be the only European shows of their comeback tour. They later told fans that plans were “underway” for further performances around the globe.

However, Oasis have ruled out a headline performance at Glastonbury 2025 and said they won’t be appearing at any other festivals next summer. Liam and Noel have shot down rumours of a return to Knebworth in 2026 too.

The band have announced that Cage The Elephant will be serving as opening support on their North American leg while former Verve frontman and soloist Richart Ashcroft and Cast will be joining the Mancunian icons on their UK and Ireland dates.

Speaking to NME in a new interview, Cast frontman John Power explained: “It’s a stamp of approval from our peers, and I appreciate that massively.”

He added: “Liam, Noel, the band, know that it’s going to be a very positive vibe. There’s no room for negativity, and I already know that for everybody involved. It’s going to be a beautiful thing. All the bands are going to be rolling on seamlessly and it’s going to be electric.”

Fans are currently speculating over who will be in the reformed Oasis line-up alongside Liam and Noel, with original guitarist Paul ‘Bonehead’ Arthurs reportedly on board for the tour dates.

Other rumoured members include guitarist Gem Archer and bassist Andy Bell. Drummer Alan White also sparked speculation on social media this summer, but NME is led to believe that he will not be part of the reunion. Liam has since teased that the band could feature “a few new faces”.

In other news, Liam has been teasing that he’s been blown away by the music his brother Noel has written for a potential new Oasis album.
