Pete Tong has announced an ‘Ibiza Classics’ UK arena tour with Jules Buckley and the Essential Orchestra. Find all the details below.

The DJ and broadcaster, who hosts the Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1, is due to bring his acclaimed show to six UK arenas in late 2025 to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

Kicking off in Glasgow on December 4, the upcoming run of shows also includes stop-offs in Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham. The trek is scheduled to conclude with two gigs at The O2 in London on December 12 and 13.

Tong will be joined on stage by his long-time collaborator Jules Buckley and the Essential Orchestra.

The new live show will boast numerous special guest DJs and singers, showcase reimaginings of timeless classic house tracks, and combine unique orchestration with Tong’s electronic production.

‘Ibiza Classics’ debuted in 2015 as part of BBC Radio 1’s Prom at the historic Royal Albert Hall in London. Per an official description, the series pays “musical homage to Ibiza and its infectious, energetic brand of club music”.

It adds: “Now celebrating the best of 10 years and its huge success, ‘Ibiza Classics’ has firmly cemented itself as part of the live music calendar becoming the world’s most iconic orchestral electronic music event.”

Tong is currently out on his 2024 ‘Ibiza Classics’ UK tour, and will begin a two-night stint at London’s O2 tomorrow night (Friday December 13). Find any remaining tickets here.

In October, Tong shared the single ‘Release Me’ featuring Jules Buckley, from the ‘Ibiza Classics’ series. The DJ is said to be currently working on new music.
