Primal Scream announce support acts for 2025 UK ‘Come Ahead’ tour
Primal Scream have announced support acts for their upcoming UK tour. Find all the details, including a list of tour dates, below.
The tour dates were announced last month, and came in celebration of the band’s new album, ‘Come Ahead’.
14 shows were confirmed, all taking place between March and April 2025. The dates kick off with an opening slot at the Beacon venue in Bristol on March 31, before continuing throughout the following month with stops in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Liverpool, London and more.
Now, Bobby Gillespie and co. have confirmed the acts who will be joining them for the UK leg.
British indie singer Baxter Dury will join Primal Scream in Bristol, Southampton, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Birmingham, Liverpool, Manchester and Nottingham, while Fat White Family will join as special guests for the one show in London.
Mozart Estate will help open the shows in Bristol, Southampton, Birmingham, Liverpool and more, while Dylan John Thomas will also perform at the final run of shows, including at Leeds and Newcastle.

Alongside the headline tour, the band have also been confirmed as playing Y Not Festival 2025, alongside The Prodigy, Courteeners, Madness, The Wombats and more. Before then, they’ll join Paul Weller and Kneecap for a ‘Gig For Gaza’ charity show in London next month.
The latter comes as Gillespie and co.recently collaborated on a new shirt design for a Palestinian refugee football team, and based the design on their classic record ‘Screamadelica’.
NME gave Primal Scream’s ‘Come Ahead’ album a glowing four-star review. In it, the band were praised for integrating “a whole lot of funk on its surface but still pack[ing] oodles of punk and grenades of protest in its trunk.”
Around the same time, Gillespie and producer David Holmes spoke to NME about the inspiration for the record, with the latter saying: “We were feeling our way through it. We’re excited by the same things, and one thing we’re excited about is people telling the truth – on a piece of music that you could put on at a dinner party! ‘Cause it’s got a joyfulness to it, but when you zone in closer, it’s actually saying something that needs to be said.”
More recently, the band performed a cover of the Lana Del Rey track ‘Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd’ on Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio show, Couch Sessions.
