Roc Marciano & DJ Premier Visit the ‘Armani Section’ in New Video

It’s always a blessing when two legends link up.

After announcing their upcoming EP and releasing the single last month, Roc Marciano and DJ Premier just dropped the video for “Armani Section.”

Directed by POE, Roc and Preemo hangout and do some shopping in L.A. and they brought along a couple luxury vehicles to lamp in. DJ Premier gave us a little background of how the video came together. “My director POE and I flew to L.A. and literally shot the video from 10 am to 5 pm and flew right back to N.Y.,” he said. “Shout to The Alchemist for letting me borrow his Maybach Wagon and studio to film and, of course, Roc Marci owns a Maybach which is also in the video.”

Adding, simply, “Authentic fly sh—t.”

A few years ago, the two ran into each other in the Giorgio Armani section inside Macy’s flagship store located in NYC’s Herald Square where they talked about making music together. They finally got a chance last year and decided to name their first song after their chance encounter. There’s still no name for the EP or a release date, but it should be coming some time this year.

And while Preem puts together the rest of his project with Marci, he’s been focusing on his label TTT (To the Top) and his artist Brady Watt, who recently dropped his single “Shake.”

The legendary DJ and record producer started the label a few years ago so that he could make the music that he wanted and release the music whenever he wanted.
