Ryan Gosling Offers Jimin a ‘Barbie’ Gift, J-Hope Talks Upcoming Doc & Album | Billboard News
BTS roundup: Ryan Gosling offers Jimin a gift for wearing his “Permission to Dance” outfit in the Barbie movie, and J-Hope reveals details on his new album and upcoming documentary.
Ryan Gosling:
Hi, Jimin! It’s Ryan Gosling here. Jimin is a Ken and Ryan Gosling approves. Plus, Army: Brace yourselves for so much J-Hope content. This is today’s BTS news.
Tetris Kelly:
Hot take! “Permission to Dance” is my favorite BTS song, and the star of the Barbie movie, Ryan Gosling, feels the same way I do about Jimin’s iconic look.
Ryan Gosling:
I noticed that your “Permission to Dance” outfit was the same as my Ken outfit in the upcoming movie Barbie. I have to give it to you — you wore it first. You definitely wore it best.
Tetris Kelly:
And it doesn’t end there, Ryan’s got a gift to give.
Ryan Gosling:
There’s an unspoken Ken Code that if you bite another Ken style, you have to give them your most prized possession. So I hope you’ll accept Ken’s guitar.
Tetris Kelly:
Are you kidding? A little known fact: The Notebook is Jimin’s favorite movie. That’s just too cool — almost as cool as our favorite dance captain J-Hope.
BTS’ J-Hope reveals that he’s prepping a new collection of music and completed a documentary that highlights his love of dancing. The new doc, Hope on the Street, is set to arrive in 2024 and will highlight different street dances around the world with J-Hope saying “it’ll be about my dancing and my story.” And since his debut album Jack in the Box will be celebrating its one year anniversary, the artists is delivering a special reissue next month. The HOPE edition will feature three live recordings from his set at Lollapalooza and more!
