Sam Fender announces more huge UK outdoor shows for summer 2025
Sam Fender has announced more massive UK shows to his tour for summer 2025. Find the details below.
It comes as the Geordie singer-songwriter confirmed details of his biggest stadium gigs to date at the end of last year – announcing a stop at the 75,000-capacity London Stadium on June 6, his first stadium headline date outside of Newcastle – and a run of shows at Newcastle’s St. James’ Park later in the month.
Now, following huge demand for tickets, Fender has shared details of three more huge UK outdoor shows.
These all take place in August, following the run of previously announced European tour dates and include a stop at Wythenshawe Park in Manchester on August 16. The second new date will be held in Scotland as part of the Edinburgh Summer Sessions and takes place on August 22 at the Royal Highland Showgrounds.
Finally, the third and final new show will be held at the Boucher Road Playing Fields in Belfast as part of the VITAL Series. This gig will round off all planned UK and European tour dates for 2025 and be held on August 28.
Support for the first two shows will come from Olivia Dean, while CMAT will be opening the show in Belfast.
Tickets go on sale from Friday (February 21) at 10am GMT, although pre-sale options will begin from Tuesday (18). Visit here to buy tickets and find a list of UK tour dates below.

The announcement today (February 13) comes on the heels of Fender releasing his forthcoming album ‘People Watching’ on February 21 via Polydor (available to pre-order here).
It comes three years after the release of his second album ‘Seventeen Going Under‘ – which took the top spot on NME’s Albums Of The Year list in 2021.
So far, Fender has already shared the album’s lead single and title track. In a four-star review of the song, NME shared: “By sticking to what he’s best at, the musician has avoided falling into any such traps – and ended up with a song grand enough to get a whole stadium going without compromising on the heart and power that we’ve come to expect from him. If the rest of ‘People Watching’ follows suit, Fender’s third album should be another world-beater.”
He first debuted ‘People Watching’ live, along with another unreleased song, ‘Nostalgia’s Lie’ in August, with both set to appear on the tracklist. Following the title track being shared, Fender revealed details surrounding the record, including its tracklisting. It was produced by Fender alongside his bandmates Dean Thompson, Joe Atkinson, producer Markus Dravs, and The War on Drugs’ Adam Granduciel.
In other Sam Fender news, the singer was announced as the official ambassador of Record Store Day UK 2025 – set for April 12 – and will release two new songs as part of a special EP to celebrate.
He is also nominated for two BRIT Awards at next month’s ceremony: Artist Of The Year and Alt/Rock Act.
