Selena Gomez & Benny Blanco Are Seemingly Teasing a Gracie Abrams Collaboration
That’s so true that something is going on between Gracie Abrams, Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco.
Gomez and Blanco have been continuing the roll-out of their upcoming album, I Said I Love You First, and the couple took to Instagram this week to tease what seems to be a collaboration with Abrams. It all started on Monday (Feb. 17), when Blanco shared a video walking into a bedroom to find Gomez and Abrams chatting on the bed. “What are you guys doing in here?” the Grammy-winning producer asks, before they both greet him with a “hello!”
The Only Murders in the Building star followed up on Tuesday (Feb. 18) with a selfie-style clip lip syncing along to an unreleased track. “Call me when you break up/ I want to be the first one on your mind when you wake up/ I miss the way we’d stay up/ We’d talk about forever while I’m taking off my makeup,” Gomez sings over the mid-tempo pop melody. While Abrams isn’t heard on the song, the 25-year-old “That’s So True” singer wrote in the comment section, “Heyyyyyyyy that’s my friendddd,” with Blanco replying, “heyyyyyy that’s my wife.”
See the video here. Gomez and Blanco have yet to reveal a title or release date for the new track, or whether or not it will include Abrams as a collaborator.
Gomez and Blanco’s I Said I Love You First is set to arrive on March 21. The newly engaged duo announced the project last week, while also dropping its lead single, “Scared of Loving You.”
