SEVENTEEN BSS announce new single album ‘Teleparty’ with heart-warming trailer
SEVENTEEN sub-unit BSS have released a trailer for their upcoming single album, titled ‘Teleparty’.
Today (December 27), the K-pop trio BSS – comprising SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan, DK and Hoshi – unveiled a new trailer announcing their forthcoming return with their second single album ‘Teleparty’.
Shot in the style of an election campaign video, the singers rally a crowd as they discuss the significance of youth, promising to help shoulder the responsibilities of their listeners so they will be able to enjoy their youth.
According to a press release from Pledis Entertainment, the record will reflect the trio’s hopes for empathetic connection, and to “remind everyone to pause and savour the ordinary yet precious moments of everyday life.” ‘Teleparty’ arrives on January 8 at 6pm KST/4am ET.
‘Teleparty’ will mark SEVENTEEN BSS’ first comeback in two years, following their success with their first single album ‘Second Wind’ in January 2023. That release was led by the single ‘Fighting’ featuring South Korean rapper Lee Young-ji, and was later chosen as the official cheer song for the South Korean national team at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN’s latest release as a full group was their 12th mini-album ‘Spill The Feels’, which they released alongside a music video for its lead single ‘Love, Money, Fame’ featuring DJ Khaled this October.
In a four-star review of the record, NME’s Rhian Daly wrote that while it “packs the excitement of something fresh and in constant evolution,” it also continues to reflect the boyband’s “unwavering commitment to spreading hope, joy and love, all via addictive and affecting music.”
