SHINee singer Key has dropped the first teaser image for his next solo single ‘Tongue Tied’, out later this month.

The new retro-inspired teaser images feature cryptic, low-quality photos of a houseplant, a nineties Macintosh model PC and one of Key’s dogs, Comme Des. Titled ‘Tongue Tied’, his new single arrives on June 16 at Midnight KST.

‘Tongue Tied’ will be Key’s first solo release in ten months, after his September 2023 mini-album ‘Good & Great’. Meanwhile, his most recent music with SHINee was the boyband’s eighth studio album ‘Hard’, which dropped last June.

Back in January, Key kicked off his ‘Keyland On: And On’ tour with a two-night concert at the Olympic Handball Stadium in Seoul. The concert is set to continue this July in Bangkok, Jakarta, Macau and Kaohsiung.

In other K-pop news, EXO members Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin have shared their intentions to countersue their agency SM Entertainment over a royalty fee dispute.

The conflict was made public earlier this week when the three members’ agency INB100 held a press conference claiming that SM was unfairly demanding royalty payments from them. SM announced yesterday that it had filed a civil suit against the trio.

Elsewhere, Sony Music Korea has confirmed that BLACKPINK’s Lisa will be releasing new solo music “soon”. The singer and rapper has since teased a snippet of an upcoming track in a new TikTok clip.
