Should you bluff or bribe the bouncer in ‘Star Wars: Outlaws’
Early on in Star Wars: Outlaws, you will come across your first small choice within a club on Canto Bight. Should you bribe or bluff the bouncer, Vrell, to get into the backrooms?
Despite these two options being presented to you, there is a way to easily make it into the back of the club without telling a white lie or losing your Credits. Here are all the options and the one you should do.
‘Star Wars: Outlaws’ – should you bluff or bribe the bouncer
These are your choices in the moment:
- Bluff – You can bluff straight away but you won’t get anywhere. You can talk to the bartender and bluff about his T-85 being jacked. This will get him to go away and allow you to pass through.
- Bribe – You can pay Vrell 100 Credits to let you pass. But you will need to have 100 Credits on you when you enter the club, as you can’t get back out until you have finished the mission.
Instead of bribing or bluffing Vrell, the bouncer, in Star Wars: Outlaws’ opening, you should get Nix to steal a keycard from the patrolling bouncer on the second floor of the club. Simply use your focus mode with Nix and press the steal button while looking at the guard. Correctly hit the button and you will be able to grab the keycard. You can then crawl through a vent in the building to the top of the staircase the bouncer is guarding.
This will allow you to continue through the mission, make it off Canto Bight, and begin your journey with Nix. You can’t really fail this choice, and there are no major consequences, unlike some of the others later in the game, which revolve around the Syndicate Reputation system.
