Sleep Token tease new single: “Prepare for a new offering”
Sleep Token have teased a brand new single with a video clip on their social media accounts.
The masked band have taken to their social media channels to share a short video clip of a grey flamingo standing in a patch of grass with red and pink flowers all around it and the facade of a while mansion covered in red and pink foliage peeking out in the background. A few seconds into the video, the flowers begin to quickly bloom and the flamingo turns its head.
The clip is soundtracked by a piano piece that sounds reminiscent of something you would hear out of a vintage music box. The caption of the post read: “Prepare for a new offering,” with the website sleep-token.com underneath.
The website leads fans to pre-save or pre-add the band’s forthcoming music and features a button that reads: “behold a divide”. Upon clicking it, fans are then asked to choose their allegiance to one of two houses, House Veridian and The Feathered Host. Under House Veridian, it reads “the house must endure” and under The Feathered Host, it reads “The cycle must end”. Upon clicking each house, fans are asked to submit their email address.
Sleep Token’s latest teaser comes a week after they hinted at new material by sharing sheet music online. Fans began to notice new cryptic updates last month from the band, which could mean they are hinting at new music.

The suggestions of a new era for the band come as frontman Vessel and co. are set to headline Download Festival in June. Meanwhile, drummer II is set to appear at Black Sabbath’s final show in Birmingham in July.
The latter will take place in Birmingham and see the metal pioneers perform alongside Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Lamb Of God, Mastodon, Alice In Chains, Halestorm, recent Grammy-winners Gojira and more. Recently, II opened up about performing at Black Sabbath’s final gig, calling it a “reverence and great honour”.
In other news, at the end of last year, Sleep Token’s mysterious masked vocalist Vessel took some time out during their gig at the O2 Arena to play on his Nintendo Switch console.
