Some big titles are leaving Xbox Game Pass this March

Microsoft has confirmed what titles will be leaving Xbox Game Pass later this month – and the list includes a few fan-favourites.

Xbox Game Pass is a Netflix-style streaming service for Xbox consoles and PC that allows subscribers access to a rotating library of titles. Earlier this month, Obsidian’s new role-playing fantasy game Avowed and viral card-game Balatro were both added to the service.

However, Microsoft has now confirmed what titles will be leaving Game Pass this March.

According to the official Xbox website, twisted fairytale Lies Of P will be removed from Xbox Game Pass on March 16. Both Yakuza 5 Remastered and Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life will also be leaving the service the same day, as will SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom.

In total, eight games will be removed from Game Pass on March 16.

Lies Of P
Evil West
MLB The Show 24
No More Heroes 3
Solar Ash
SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom
Yakuza 5 Remastered
Yakuza 6: The Song Of Life

Three more games are set to launch on Xbox Game Pass this month though, including Atomfall which has been dubbed “British Fallout” by many fans. Atomfall will be a Day One release, launching on March 27. Also coming to Game Pass is 33 Immortals (March 18) and SOPA: Tale Of The Stolen Potato (March 26).

It’s not all bad news for Lies Of P fans though. Last month, developers confirmed a prequel expansion would be released this summer. “As Geppetto’s deadly puppet, you’ll journey through Krat and its surroundings, uncover hidden backstories, and face epic battles that shape the past and future of Lies Of P,” reads the official description. “Dare to unravel the mysteries of the past, for in the heart of darkness lies the key to unlocking the secrets of a timeless tale reborn.”

A sequel to Lies Of P is also in development. “For the DLC and the sequel, we aim to do better on what we did well and improve in areas we have room to grow,” said game director Jiwon Choi. “It might sound simple, but I find that sticking to the basics is anything but easy. We hope to turn your anticipation into delight.”

In other news, it’s been reported that the PlayStation 5 version of Indiana Jones And The Great Circle could be released this April.
