Calling all rom-com movie lovers! Get ready to see Emma Roberts play a carefree partygoer who longs to travel to space but faces a series of setbacks in Prime Video’s original movie Space Cadet, premiering Thursday (July 4).

“This movie kind of feels nostalgic, kind of early 2000s in a way, but also fresh and fun,” shared Roberts in an AP interview.

Liz W. Garcia, known for her work on The Life Guard, directed and wrote the film, with Greg Silverman and Jon Berg producing. Executive producers include Michael Tadross, Chris Bosco, Liz W. Garcia, Gideon Yu, Jaeson Ma and Emma Roberts. The romantic comedy stars Emma Roberts as Rex, a college student navigating her journey toward NASA training.

Other actors starring in the film include Tom Hopper, Poppy Liu, Gabrielle Union, Kuhoo Verma, Desi Lydic, Sebastián Yatra, Yasha Jackson, Andrew Call, Troy Iwata, Josephine Huang, Dave Foley, Sam Robards and Joshua Harto.
