As reported by GamesRadar, a new community update read: “It has been reported that some players were displaying hurtful behaviours or comments in-game. We do not tolerate that and will take action to prevent it. First and foremost, we kindly ask you to remain respectful, mature and mannerly with your fellow Space Marines.
“You can never know how old the other players may be, how their day is going, how sensitive they may be… overall, you never know who your brothers and sisters are… It could even be… you don’t want to insult Henry Cavill, brother, no you don’t.”
Cavill is a big fan of Warhammer and even said he’ll teach his child to paint Warhammer figures as soon as they’re old enough. He’s also a fan of the new Space Marine 2, writing “This game is the mutt’s….. Seriously, though, they’ve done pretty well eh? I couldn’t complete the campaign on Angel of Death by myself (or at least didn’t have patience to complete by myself!) which I love!”
So, players have been warned; if they’re rude online they could be making an enemy of Superman and the Witcher himself.
Space Marine 2 was praised for being a “pure, unfiltered video game,” by reviewers when it launched back in September. It was described as “a gloriously extravagant depiction of the 40k universe, and also a game that feels genuinely next-generational in its presentation.” It also has “a really awesome and in-depth co-op PvE mode that offers a lot of replayability.”
In other news, Starfield fans and critics are at odds with each other after the launch of the hotly anticipated Shattered Space DLC.
