Stray Kids’ Felix fractures arm after “minor” car accident
Stray Kids member Felix has fractured his arm after being involved in a “minor” car accident his label JYP Entertainment has announced.
Yesterday (February 16), JYP Entertainment shared in a statement that Stray Kids’ Felix had been involved caught in a “minor” car accident while on his way home the night before from scheduled activities.
“Felix was in a vehicle, that was slowly making its way from the Inspire Arena parking lot towards the main lobby, when a shuttle bus, that was moving slowly behind, collided with the left rear side of the vehicle,” JYP Entertainment said, as translated by Soompi.
“The accident itself was minor, but the momentary shift in Felix’s weight onto his arm caused him to collide with the armrest inside the vehicle, resulting in a fracture,” the label added. It noted that Felix was immediately taken to the hospital following the incident, where medical personnel advised that he requires “adequate rest and treatment for the time being”.
As a result, Felix will be taking a break from scheduled activities for the foreseeable future. “Please be assured that the health and recovery of the artist is our top priority, and we will provide all the necessary support,” the label said. “We will strengthen our measures to ensure that our artist can travel in a safer environment.”
