Sydney Sweeney fans catch her allegedly pirating show on streaming site
Sydney Sweeney has been caught by fans allegedly using an illegal streaming service.
The Anyone But You star posted a picture to her Instagram story, showing her television, on which she was watching NBC’s Law & Order: Organised Crime.
The now-expired photograph was screenshotted and posted online and fans began to notice something familiar about the layout of the streaming service interface.
One user posted the screenshotted picture with the comment: “My girl pirating so real”.
Fans have been speculating online whether the Euphoria star is using an illegal streaming service called FlixTor, with some users saying they recognise the layout.

One user wrote: “The way I know that damn site just by looking at the buttons below,” while another wrote: “not her using flixtor”.
Another user spotted the irony of Sweeney’s choice of show, writing: “the way she’s watching LAW and ORDER while pirating LMAO”, to which someone replied: “She’s just like me fr fr.”
Some fans showed their support for Sweeney given the increasing costs of various streaming services.
One user wrote: “honestly can’t blame her ’cause they keep increasing the cost of streaming services”, prompting another to reply: “Even the ones we pay for they still sneak ads in!”
Back in 2022, Netflix launched its ad-supported plan, joining the likes of Amazon Prime Video and Disney+, giving subscribers the option to pay a lower fee for content which contains advertisements.
Another user noted the difficulty with some shows only being available on certain platforms, writing: “All the shows we want to watch are all on different streaming services WE NOT PAYING FOR 8 DIFFERENT SERVICES AND NEITHER IS MRS SWEENEY”.
In other news, back in April Zendaya gave her thoughts on the ongoing delays surrounding season three of Euphoria.
