T-Pain to Transform New Orleans’ Bourbon Street Into ‘Rum Street’ for Captain Morgan Super Bowl Party
Let T-Pain buy U a drank down on Bourbon Street — or Rum Street, actually.
In celebration of the 2025 Super Bowl taking over New Orleans on Feb. 9, Captain Morgan is transforming the city’s iconic Bourbon Street into Rum Street leading up to the Big Game from Feb. 6 to 8, when T-Pain will hit the stage and perform his biggest hits. The company serves as the Official Spiced Rum Sponsor of the NFL.
In addition to the celebration, fans can scan QR codes across the French Quarter to unlock a $10 mobile payment that can be used toward your first rum cocktail. For rum drinkers at home, Captain Morgan will be dropping exclusive merch via KidSuper, dropping on Feb. 7 here.
Kendrick Lamar will serve as the headliner for the highly anticipated Super Bowl LIX halftime show. The Apple Music halftime show is executive produced by Roc Nation in combination with Jesse Collins. K. Dot’s pgLang creative agency will provide direction for his performance. “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date,” Lamar said at the time of his halftime announcement. “And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”
Additionally, Jon Batiste is set to sing the national anthem prior to the game, with Ledisi performing “Lift Every Voice and Sing.” The NFL also called on Louisiana natives Trombone Shorty, Lauren Daigle and Ledisi to take part in the Big Game’s pre-game entertainment.
The 2025 Super Bowl (Feb. 9) will air on Fox. The teams facing off in the game will be determined in the coming weeks.
