Taylor Swift Gives Behind-the-Scenes Look at Eras Tour in ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ Music Video
She’s a real tough kid, and Taylor Swift proved it with her new music video for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” which arrived on Tuesday (Aug. 20), shortly after she wrapped up the European leg of her Eras Tour in London.
The clip features the star in rehearsals for her massive, record-breaking tour, as well as performing and having fun on stage while her fans sing along. She’s also seen backstage with her dancers and crew, showing just how much work went into the tour.
Written and released after the 14-time Grammy winner embarked on the trek back in 2022, the song captures Swift hyping herself up to perform in front of tens of thousands of people every night while going through a painful breakup. “Breaking down, I hit the floor/ All the pieces of me shattered as the crowd was chanting, ‘More’/ I was grinning like I’m winning, I was hitting my marks/ ‘Cause I can do it with a broken heart,” she sings in the chorus.
“I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” marks the second song on TTPD to get the single treatment, following the Billboard Hot 100-topping “Fortnight” featuring Post Malone. Shortly after the album’s release on April 19, “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” debuted at No. 3 on the chart.
Swift’s Eras tour continues for its final dates in Toronto, Canada, starting on November 14 before wrapping up for good in Vancouver, Canada, on December 8.
