Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to ‘Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6’
Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 has officially confirmed that a collaboration with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is coming.
Black Ops 6 takes the Call Of Duty franchise to the early ’90s and now, developers have shared a short teaser trailer confirming the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are heading to the game.
Shared on social media alongside the caption “COD-A-BUNGA”, the 17-second clip features a destroyed street with gunfire heard in the background. The camera then pans to a manhole cover that’s lifted up to reveal Donatello, Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael. A “coming soon” message then appears above them.

“I just realised that they most likely will have in-game voice lines, and we will probably be able to use their weapons in the melee weapon slot for multiplayer and zombies! That’s worth a cowabunga if you ask me,” wrote one fan on Reddit. “I don’t want to shoot the turtles,” said another.
“This collab lowkey makes sense since the first Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle movie was in 1990,” wrote a third fan. Previous limited-time events have introduced characters from Squid Game as well as a human-sized shark to Call Of Duty despite developers putting a lot of effort into making Black Ops 6 as authentically ‘90s as possible.
Speaking to NME last year, senior director of Call Of Duty Studios’ communications Stephanie Snowden, said: “I don’t know what it is about that 90s action hero feeling, but it’s absolutely something we were inspired by. We wanted the game to be grounded in that particular time and place, but it’s still Call Of Duty. It needs to feel big and it needs to have really kick ass moments.”
The current crossover with The Terminator has got things back on track for Black Ops 6, with Judgement Day released the same year that the game’s single-player story takes place. However fans aren’t impressed that the event locks all the skins behind a paywall.
There’s no release date for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ crossover with Call Of Duty: Black Ops 6 just yet but the earliest it will launch is February 21, which is when The Terminator event ends.
In other news, Rockstar Games has joined Discord with their official Grand Theft Auto 6 channel housing all the rumours about the forthcoming game.
