‘Terrifier 3’ success causes Ice Nine Kills streams to rocket
The success of Terrifier 3 has caused Ice Nine Kills streams to rocket.
The band recently dropped their latest single, ‘A Work Of Art’, the official track for the new horror blockbuster, which you can listen to below.
After the film claimed the top spot at the US box office after knocking off Joker: Folie à Deux last weekend, the song was streamed 645,390 times and received 453,000 views on YouTube within 24 hours.
Speaking about the the success of the single, Ice Nine Kills frontman Spencer Charnas said: “This has been an unbelievable ride. Seeing both Terrifier 3 and our track reach these heights is something we never imagined, but at the same time, it’s what we dared to dream we could achieve.
“‘A Work Of Art’ reflects everything we love about horror and music and to have it resonate so deeply with our fans – and the Terrifier fanbase – has been unreal. Psychos, we’re just getting started!”
The song has so far surpassed 15million streams on Spotify alone. The accompanying music video, directed by Jensen Noen, which you can view above, also premiered in over 300 cinemas in the US nationwide for one-night-only as part of double features with Terrifier 2 & Terrifier 3.
The band have also launched a range of merchandise which ties in with the song and film and can be purchased here.
The horror blockbuster pulled in over $18.3million (£14million) in its opening weekend at the US box office after it was predicted to knock Joker: Folie à Deux off the top.
