Thalia, Young Miko & More: Which Is Your Favorite New Latin Music Release This Week? Vote!

This week, Billboard‘s New Music Latin roundup and playlist — curated by Billboard Latin and Billboard Español editors — feature fresh new releases from artists like Eden Muñoz, Young Miko, Thalía, and more.

In their first collaborative effort, Thalia and Ángela Aguilar released “Troca” (slang for truck), a fun and flirty song that encourages women to break free from norms and express their sensuality subtly and innocently. Produced by Jimmy Humilde, the song laces acoustic guitars with both Mexican stars’ sugary vocals. “Troca” is part of Thalía’s upcoming all-Música Mexicana album called A Mucha Honra.

In other Mexican music news, Edén Muñoz and Fuerza Regida joined forces on “Money Edition.”  With heartfelt lyrics like “Sorry mom if I failed you/I’m following the dream,” the corrido encapsulates the essence of triumph and the realization of the Mexican American dream.

Over on the urban realm, Young Miko dropped “curita,” a mid-tempo reggaeton backed by a catchy piano beat that was helmed by her longtime producers Mauro and Jota Rosa. The song, which she premiered at the 2024 Billboard Women in Music before receiving the Impact Award, narrates the story of someone who’s going to cure their crush’s heart.

Other artists who released new music this week include Alex Ubago, Yandel, Micro TDH, and Grupo Frontera’s highly-anticipated collab with Christian Nodal.

Last week, Miami-based pop artist Michi Sanz won the poll with over 51 percent of the vote for her single “Me Vale V.” She was followed by Khea’s “Navi”with more than 41 percent of the votes. Which your favorite new Latin music release of this week? Vote below!
