The gates to Glastonbury 2024 have just opened
Glastonbury Festival 2024 has officially kicked off, as its doors have just opened.
The gates officially opened at 8am this morning (June 26), permitting entry to ticketholders who have been arriving at the festival site since 4pm yesterday (June 25). Emily Eavis was in attendance to welcome festivalgoers – you can watch a clip of the gates opening below.
As Eavis walked up to the gates at Worthy Farm, a band played the iconic Rocky theme song before Emily preceded a countdown with a hearty “Welcome to Glastonbury!”
