‘The White Lotus’ fans shocked by Jason Isaacs’ nude scene in “best” episode of season so far
The White Lotus viewers have been left shocked by a nude scene involving Jason Isaacs in the show’s latest episode.
The hit HBO drama, which follows the lives of guests at a luxury resort, continued its third season last night (March 9).
Among the storylines this season is the wealthy Ratliff family, headed by patriarch Timothy (Isaacs) – who, unbeknownst to his family, is facing a criminal investigation into his business back home. Amid a flurry of frantic calls, the character has also been taking his wife Victoria’s (Parker Posey) anti-anxiety medication.
In the latest episode, amid his secret struggles, Timothy raises his hands in exasperation as he gathers with his family, causing his robe to accidentally open and reveal all to the shock of everyone in the room.
Fans on social media have reacted to the moment, some calling the episode the “best” of the season so far.
“Well, I didn’t expect White Lotus to show Lucius Malfoy’s wand tonight, but here we are,” one viewer joked in reference to Isaacs’s Harry Potter character, another quipping: “I was not ready for Lucius Malfoy’s slytherin to slip out.”
“Wasn’t excepting to see a naked Jason Issacs but it’s white lotus so shouldn’t be shocked,” a third added, while a fourth remarked: “Me: *Is he completely naked under that robe?* ….yes, yes he was, I did NOT have Jason Isaacs full-frontal on my White Lotus S3 bingo card lmaooo.”
“Wait- this episode of #WhiteLotus was 10/10 I’m so glad I never listened to brainless tweeters calling this season boring,” another fan said of the episode.
“Episode 4 is easily this season’s BEST so far,” another echoed. “Darker tone, tighter pacing, plot finally moving along. The end shot superbly symbolizing the collision ahead awaiting all the characters… Mike white cooked here Also we got a final destination reference (yay).”

Opening up about the nudity moment, Isaacs joked to Entertainment Weekly: “Yeah, it is now in my contract for every show I do, so we’ll see. It’ll get easier, hopefully.”
In other news, Whoopi Goldberg recently labelled the series “The Caucasian Lotus” after a moment in the third episode, in which three friends – played by Michelle Monaghan, Carrie Coon and Leslie Bibb – realise one of them voted for Donald Trump.
“The White Lotus – or, The Caucasian Lotus, as I call it – is about ultra-rich people going to exotic locations,” she said on The View. “But, there’s a conversation from the latest episode that a lot of Americans can relate to these days.”
The current season of The White Lotus takes place in Thailand, while the show has been renewed for a fourth season, set to take place in a yet-to-be-revealed location.
