These are the classic games fans want to see make a return
A new tool from gaming platform GOG lets players vote for which classic games they want to make a return.
The Dreamlist tool will help GOG bring classic games to the platform, with players able to vote for which ones they want added to the digital library. Check it out here.
“Bringing classic games back to life is a significant challenge,” GOG said in a press release. “With obsolete technology, complex IP rights and challenging business cases, our Team tackles these hurdles daily. But now, more than ever, we need a helping hand. Your helping hand.”
The Dreamlist currently features more than 5,400 classic games that aren’t currently available on PC, with players able to back a release and share their experiences with the games.

“It’s a place where your memories meet action,” GOG explained. “You tell us what matters, and we work to make it happen. Each vote is a spark that inspires publishers to act. With the brand new design, it’s easier than ever to champion your favorites and make sure your voice is heard – because we believe that together we can keep the classics alive.”

The Dreamlist function builds on GOG’s previous Wishlist feature, which helped over 300 games find a second life on PC. Millions of votes have already been cast by more than 380,000 users and currently, the most-requested game is 2001’s god life-simulator Black & White. Its 2005 sequel Black & White 2 is also one of the most-requested games on the platform.
Command & Conquer: The Ultimate Edition is the third most-requested title, with 2003’s space trading and combat simulator Freelancer and 2000 first-person shooter The Operative: No One Lives Forever rounding out the top five. Original versions of Diablo 2 and Final Fantasy 7 are also some of the most popular titles, despite modern remakes.
To celebrate the new feature both Dino Crisis and Dino Crisis 2 are now available on PC, via GOG.
In other news, Pokémon TCG Pocket has finally launched the long-awaited trade feature – but fans aren’t happy with the complicated new system.
