Thom Yorke announces solo tour with dates in Australia, Singapore, and more
Thom Yorke has announced an upcoming solo tour, which will include dates in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore and Japan.
While details remain scarce, W.A.S.T.E. HQ – an official website for Radiohead and Radiohead-related news – shared a preview of the tour graphic today (June 2), along with the confirmed countries that Yorke will perform in, with cities and venues yet to be revealed.
The graphic shows that the trek will be called the ‘Everything’ tour and that it promises Yorke “playing work from across his career”.
Last Friday, Yorke shared a clip of him performing a piano-led cover of Radiohead’s ‘Bloom’, with a message pointing fans to subscribe to W.A.S.T.E.’s newsletter for “some new news coming shortly” that’s “mostly concerning Australasia and Japan”.

In April, the Radiohead and The Smile frontman released his soundtrack for Confidenza, an Italian thriller directed by Daniele Luchetti. Physical copies of the album on vinyl and CD will be released on July 12, with pre-orders available on W.A.S.T.E.’s merch store.
The film stars Elio Germano, Vittoria Puccini and Isabella Ferrari, and follows Pietro Vella who works in a run down Roman high school.
A synopsis for Confidenza reads: “He strongly believes he can help students strive for a better future and Teresa, and bright and rebellious student, is totally taken with him and his lessons. Then, a few years later, they meet up again and get romantically entangled. Teresa insists they must share their deepest secrets to bond for life. But as soon as Pietro really opens up, the relationship ends.”
Confidenza is the latest score Yorke has composed, having first ventured into film music on 2018’s Suspiria. He’s also contributed to soundtracks for Motherless Brooklyn, Children Of Men and Vanilla Sky.
In March, Yorke debuted a new The Smile track – the ravey ‘Don’t Get Me Started’ – during the band’s concert in Glasgow. The band resumes their tour this month in Europe, along with an additional trek across the month of August, with support by electronic music producer James Holden.
