Three Six Zero Recordings Links With Gamma for Distribution, Marketing
Larry Jackson‘s year-old media company gamma announced a global partnership with independent label Three Six Zero Recordings on Tuesday (March 12). Under this new agreement, gamma will handle the label’s music distribution, marketing and multimedia production needs.
The companies also announced that Three Six Zero management clients Jaden and WILLOW will be taking on partnership roles within TSZR as part of its new relationship with gamma. The label, whose roster includes Dom Dolla, 1010 Benja SL and Eats Everything, among others, boasts “talent that bridges the gap between music, film and tv” and aligns with gamma’s “ecosystem,” they said.
Commenting on the partnership, Three Six Zero CEO Mark Gillespie said “cutting edge artists want a modern way of distributing their content,” adding, “I feel strongly that is what Larry is building at gamma.”
“Mark Gillespie and his team have established a remarkable and progressive business with Three Six Zero Recordings,” added Jackson, gamma’s co-founder and CEO. “We’re philosophically aligned and I know working together with a kindred spirit will help us further advance the work of their innovative artists, exactly the type of creative talent we launched gamma. to support.”
In its first year, gamma has aligned with Snoop Dogg’s Death Row for distribution, partnered with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group and expanded into Africa and the Middle East. On that last front, it recently partnered with Billboard Arabia on a new initiative to help showcase music from the region.
