Twenty One Pilots have shared their gorgeous new track ‘The Line’ from the Arcane soundtrack – check it out below.

‘The Line’ is the first new material from Twenty One Pilots since they released seventh album ‘Clancy’ earlier this year. The track was inspired by season one of Arcane, with vocalist Tyler Joseph a huge fan of the League Of Legends-inspired show.

“I found myself inspired by how the idea of family and who can make up your family sits within the central theme, and how music contributed to bringing that to life within the world of Arcane,” he said in a press release.

An official music video for the new Twenty One Pilots track is set for release Monday (November 25) while the full soundtrack for season two of Arcane will drop tomorrow (November 23) to coincide with the third and final act of season two being released on Netflix.

So far, Ashnikko has shared their Jinx-inspired anthem ‘Paint The Town Blue’ from the soundtrack, while d4vd’s emotional ‘Remember Me’ has also been unveiled. New music from the likes of Stray Kids, Fever 333 and Freya Ridings is also featured across Arcane‘s second season.

Arcane’s groundbreaking approach to music inspired an incredibly diverse group of artists from many genres, languages, and cultures who wanted to be part of this new season. We also wanted to represent the global reach of League Of Legends by working with artists from all around the world,” said Maria Egan, global head of music at Riot Games.

“Each song was a unique collaboration between the artists, our showrunners, and Riot’s composers. Music is the heartbeat of the League community and we can’t wait for our fans to experience this epic album to deepen their connection to these powerful stories.”

The second season of Arcane has been split into three chapters. The first was unveiled earlier this month while last week’s second act took a heartbreaking turn. The finale will launch tomorrow and wrap up the story of Arcane. “From the very beginning, since we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind,” said creators. “But Arcane is just the first of many stories that we want to tell in Runeterra.”

In other news, a graphic artist has recreated a number of legendary movie scenes in the style of a PS1-era game. The likes of Joker, The Shining, Donnie Darko, The Matrix and other cult classics have all been turned into los-res masterpieces.
