Valentino Merlo & The La Planta’s ‘Hoy’ Rules Billboard Argentina Hot 100 for a Fourth Week

Valentino Merlo and The Planta hold strong atop the Billboard Argentina Hot 100 chart (dated July 29) as “Hoy,” their first collaboration, leads for a fourth week. It’s the third song to rule the 100-deep tally for at least four weeks or more in 2024. It trails Mesita, Nicki NIcole, Tiago PZK and Emilia’s “Una Foto (Remix)” which dominated for 10 weeks, Bhavi, Milo J, Seven Kayne and Neo Pistea’s “Bésame (Remix),” for five weeks at the summit, and Luck Ra and Khea’s “Hola Perdida (Remix)” with an equal four weeks at No. 1.

The top 10 remains slightly the same as last week’s chart (dated July 20), except for Emilia’s “La_Playlist.mpeg,” which climbs from No. 12 to No. 10 for her 16th top 10, the third-most among women. Maria Becerra continues at the helm with 28 top 10s, while Tini has logged 18 career top 10s. The song joins another Emilia track in the top 10 this week, as her first team-up with Los Ángeles Azules, “Perdonarte ¿Para Qué?,” holds at No. 2 for a third week after it took over the tally for three weeks in June.

The week’s Hot Shot Debut goes to Milo J, who adds his 23rd career entry witth “3 Pecados Después” at N°54. The 17-year-old posts two other entries: “M.A.I” climbs 55-47, while “Rara Vez” re-enters at No. 81.

Uruguayan band No Te Va Gustar takes home the Greatest Gainer trophy, awarded weekly to the song with largest jump, as “Ese Maldito Momento” surges from No. 85 to No. 62.
