‘¡Viva La MAYHEM!’ Lady Gaga Announces 1st Show in Mexico in 13 Years
Lady Gaga will perform her first concert in Mexico in 13 years on April 26 at the GNP Seguros Stadium in Mexico City, Live Nation announced on Monday (March 3) in a press release, followed by a post by the pop star on Instagram. “¡Viva La MAYHEM! We’re coming back,” she wrote.
The highly anticipated return of the American pop star to the Latin American country will be part of her world tour in support of her new album, Mayhem, to be released this Friday (March 7) via Interscope Records. The show, produced by Live Nation and OCESA, will mark Gaga’s first concert in Mexico City since 2012, when she performed at the same stadium (then called Foro Sol) as part of the Born This Way Ball tour.
According to Live Nation, tickets will be available starting Thursday (March 6) in a presale for Banamex cardholders, while general sales will begin on Friday (March 7) at 2 p.m. local time through Ticketmaster’s website and at the venue’s box office.
The announcement comes just days before the “Born This Way” singer releases her new 14-track LP, which includes the singles “Abracadabra,” “Disease” and “Die With a Smile” featuring Bruno Mars. According to Live Nation, the new album “combines the eclectic energy that captivated Gaga’s fans with a bold vision, exploring themes of chaos and transformation, while celebrating the power of music to unite, provoke and heal.”
In a year full of milestones, Gaga also announced a free show at Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for May 3. This Saturday (March 8), she will play double duty as host and performer on Saturday Night Live, and days later, on March 17, she will receive the iHeartRadio Innovator Award of 2025. She will also headline Coachella on April 11 and 18.
