WARGASM announce 2024 UK tour of “up-close and personal intimate venues”

Wargasm perform live in 2024

WARGASM have announced details of a 2024 UK tour, which will see them head to a variety of “intimate venues” – find ticket details below.

The new run of headline shows comes on the heels of the metal duo – comprised of Milkie Way and Sam Matlock – playing a huge number of festival slots over this summer.

Titled the ‘Club Shit’ tour, the new run of dates will see the band take over venues across 11 UK cities towards the end of the year, and break out some of their biggest hits in “up-close and personal intimate venues”.

Kicking off on October 20, the first show lined up will see them play a set at the Pioneer Club in St Albans. The run will then continue throughout the following month with a slot at the Tramshed venue in Cardiff planned for November 5.

Shows in Brighton, Milton Keynes, Norwich, Oxford and Newcastle are all scheduled for November 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 respectively, as well as follow-up shows in Edinburgh and Stoke.

The dates wrap up with a penultimate show at the Blitz in Preston, followed by a final date at the O2 Academy in Liverpool.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Wednesday, August 14) at 10am BST. Visit here to buy yours and find a full list of new tour dates below.

The announcement of the new tour comes as the band announced news of a new single last month, confirming that they had joined forces with Slipknot frontman and metal legend Corey Taylor.

Titled ‘70% Dead’ the band explained how the collaboration arose, saying: “We were on the road in the USA with Corey – Sam ended up jumping on a mic with him during his set and we just felt like the voices sounded right together. It totally made sense to do something fresh with the three of us and well…. you don’t ask you don’t get.”

“Some OG fans might recognise the lyrics, this has been a long time coming,” they continued. “‘70% Dead’ is a cry out at a world gone mad; war, disease, inequality. It feels like something is brewing. ‘Fuck me, what went wrong? I’m sick of sleeping on the barrel of a loaded gun’.”

It arrived after they teased the collaboration with NME following their slot at Download 2024. They previously teamed up with Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst on their 2023 single ‘Bang Ya Head’.

“We’ve featured on a lot of other artists’ tunes this year, and it made us realise that we really want another artist to be the one featuring on our tunes,” said Sam Matlock.

“So far we’ve only had that once, but it was Fred Durst to be fair. So come back next month and you see – our first dream collaboration was with Fred, and the second is on the way.”
