Watch Blue Ivy’s Dance Skills Evolve During Renaissance World Tour in TikTok
Practice makes perfect! Fans who have had the chance to see Beyoncé during the Renaissance World Tour know that Blue Ivy Carter joined her super star mother in dance for “My Power” night after night. And now, the BeyHive is honoring how much she has grown in both confidence and skill onstage.
On Tuesday, TikTok user @queenbeyswife shared a comparison video from Blue’s first performance on the Renaissance World Tour. While the first clip does show the pop star’s eldest hitting the song’s choreography, the second clip shows her confidently dancing to the track, even incorporating some of her mother’s signature hair choreography into the moves.
“Wow she’s gotten so good! That’s a lot of confidence for someone so young, go Blue Ivy!” one fan wrote in the comments section of the TikTok. Another user added, “Watching her confidence grow throughout the tour has made me so proud! She’s improved so much,” and another impressed fan even said “watching her blossom into a powerhouse performer has unironically been one of my favorite things about this year.”
The members of the BeyHive aren’t the only people who are proud — Blue’s grandmother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, told People back in July, “She’s having the time of her life, and I couldn’t be more proud of her because she really worked hard.” She added, “She is 11 years old, and she had one week to prepare, and she’s just getting better and better. So I’m the proud grandma, always.”
And when Blue first started joining her mother onstage, Bey also shared how proud she was of her eldest girl. “My beautiful first born 🙏🏾 I’m so proud and thankful to be your mama. You bring us so much joy, my sweet angel,” she wrote in a May 29 post.
