Watch Mariah Carey perform ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ to kick off NFL’s Christmas-day games

Mariah Carey has performed her holiday season classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ for the NFL’s Christmas-day games this year – watch the performance below.

To kick off the NFL’s two Christmas-day games this year, which were live-streamed on Netflix, Carey pre-recorded a live performance of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’. The performance was broadcast before both games, including the second game that featured a Halftime Show performance from Beyoncé.

For Carey’s pre-recorded performance – which you can view in full below, courtesy of Netflix – she sings atop a skyscraper as fans from around the world tune in. Footage of the NFL teams competing in the Christmas-day games are spliced into the performance, and includes a brief cameo from actor-comedian Kevin Hart.

Mariah Carey’s performance preceded Beyoncé’s Halftime Show in Houston, Texas, where Bey debuted songs from ‘Cowboy Carter’ for the first time, and was joined by the likes of Shaboozey, Post Malone and her daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Prior to the performance airing, Carey signed Rihanna’s breast during her final Christmas concert in New York earlier this month. During the middle of her final show as part of her 2024 Christmas Time tour, the singer made her way down to the front row where the ‘Diamonds’ hitmaker – who was dressed in a fur coat, white tank top, black sunglasses and a red lip – was stood and went on to autograph her breast.

“Sign my tit because my man made me come and get this,” the ‘Stay’ singer said. “What do you want me to write?” Carey asked with Rihanna responding: “Mariah. What the fuck do you think? Whatever you want. Wow, this iconic.” Rih then goes on to take the microphone and announces, “Mariah Carey is signing my tit, y’all.”

Carey’s Christmas Time tour coincided with the 30th anniversary of her 1994 album ‘Merry Christmas’ and her hit holiday single “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Elsewhere on her tour, a fight had reportedly broken out during her show at Baltimore, Maryland’s CFG Bank Arena on Saturday (December 7), marking the second fight to take place during her tour.
