The comedian and writer has been a longstanding supporter of Trump’s politics and has now appeared alongside the Canadian rapper and singer Tom MacDonald in a video titled ‘Daddy’s Home’.
Barr sports box braids and gold chains in the two-minute video as she stands among a group of MAGA supporters and an abundance of American flags. “We won, you mad / It’s done, too bad / Boohoo, so sad / Now your daddy’s home,” raps MacDonald.

“Thank god that we’re back / Couldn’t take another four years, that’s a wrap / I can take a bath in your tears,” he continues. Later in the track, Barr says: “Screw Eminem, I’m Roseanne“, before flipping off the camera.
Barr is the creator of Roseanne, the hit ABC sitcom that ran from 1988 to 1997 and was revived in 2018. The new incarnation of the show was cancelled, however, after Barr likened a woman in Barack Obama’s administration to a cross between the Muslim brotherhood and a Planet Of The Apes actor on Twitter. ABC president Channing Dungey described the comments as “abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values”.
“If [Ms. Jarrett] is watching, I’m so sorry you thought I was racist, and that you thought my tweet was racist,” Barr later said. “I’m sorry that you feel harmed and hurt. I never meant that and I apologise for saying anything negative about an entire race of people.”
She added: “I am a creative genius, and this is not a good feeling for an artist to be treated this way, and it’s not a good feeling for a citizen, either.”
Trump’s second inauguration is set to take place on Monday (January 20), with the event being moved indoors this time around due to the expectation of dangerously cold weather in Washington D.C.
Among the names that had been confirmed for the inauguration event were Carrie Underwood, Village People, Kid Rock and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Trump has also recently named Sylvester Stallone, Mel Gibson and Jon Voight as his “special ambassadors” of Hollywood.
“They will serve as Special Envoys to me for the purpose of bringing Hollywood, which has lost much business over the last four years to Foreign Countries, BACK—BIGGER, BETTER, AND STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE!” Trump said.
“These three very talented people will be my eyes and ears, and I will get done what they suggest. It will again be, like The United States of America itself, The Golden Age of Hollywood!”
