When announcing the small gig in April, Morello promised that he’d be joined onstage by some “special guests”.
Four songs into the show, the musician teamed up with Måneskin guitarist Thomas Raggi on a joint rendition of the band’s 2023 single ‘Gossip’ – on which Morello features. The pair then performed a cover of MC5’s ‘Kick Out The Jams’ together.
Additionally, Morello treated the crowd to numerous Rage tracks, a solo version of his Bring Me The Horizon collaboration ‘Let’s Get The Party Started’, a cover of Bruce Springsteen‘s ‘The Ghost Of Tom Joad’ and more.

Upon releasing ‘Gossip’ early last year, Raggi said: “Tom is one of the greatest musicians that I’ve always listened to and learned from. Playing with him is a dream come true. It’s an enormous gift and a personal highlight of this incredible year.”
Morello added: “When I heard that there was a rock and roll band from Italy that was blowing up around the world I was like ‘Really? Come on’. Then when I saw them play live I was blown away.
“They are unapologetically loud, unapologetically sexy, and unapologetically ROCKING and deserve to be one of the standard bearers for rock and roll for a younger generation.”

He continued: “I got to jam with [Måneskin] at their studio in Hollywood, it’s a great band, they all play great, they write great songs, they connect with their audience in a deep and meaningful way, and if you’ve seen them play live the crowd goes OFF! It looks a lot like some of the big bands of the ‘90s.”
Shortly after ‘Gossip’ arrived, Måneskin and Morello played a raucous rendition of the track on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in the US.
Morello released his latest two studio albums, ‘The Atlas Underground Fire’ and ‘The Atlas Underground Flood’, in 2021. Måneskin’s third and most recent full-length effort, ‘Rush!’, came out in 2023.
Speaking to NME in May 2022, frontman Damiano David said the then-unheard project would be “critical [of society]” at times and “honest through and through”.
“This is the chance to make a real difference, not only for us, but for the whole Italian music business,” he added.
