Watch Tramell Tillman recreate ‘Severance’ season two finale’s marching band performance
Tramell Tillman recreated his marching band performance in the final episode of Severance season two at PaleyFest 2025.
The actor, who plays floor manager Seth Milchick in the Apple TV+ series, led members of the University of Southern California marching band in a surprise performance at a live Q&A panel event at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Friday night (March 21), just hours after the show premiered its season 2 finale. You can view footage below.
The spectacle closely paralleled the unsettling celebration that Mr. Milchick throws in this week’s episode, in which Tillman’s character acted as a drum major stylishly fronting the company’s Choreography & Merriment players to commemorate a major milestone in the Macrodata Refinement department. You can also view that performance below.

What I love most about SEVERANCE is that it is technically a sci-fi show but embraces weirdness in such an idiosyncratic way to deliver truly unique moments like this. Also, give Tramell Tillman all the awards. That dude is one hell of a performer.

The show’s second season ended with a bang as Mark (Adam Scott) made an emotional choice in the season’s final episode, Cold Harbour.
Meanwhile, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple, announced just after midnight on Friday, that Severance had been renewed for a third season.
The post responded to a tweet from the show’s director Ben Stiller that said: “So some fans are asking for Season 3 of Severance. What do you say, @tim_cook?”
Cook, whose Apple TV+ service produces the show, then quote-tweeted the request with a video that showed scenes from the show including characters at work, meetings, and numbers being sorted into a folder marked “3”. The end of the clip then said: “Severance. Renewed for season three”.
This is not the first time Cook has been used to promote the show. In January, he appeared in a promo for season two that saw him play a severed employee, reporting for work at the mysterious Lumon Industries. After walking through Lumon’s hallways, he is greeted by Mr. Milchick (Tillman).
“Tim C.,” Milchick says. “Core of the Apple. Please have a seat”. Cook does so, sitting in front of a monitor advertising the second season. Stiller shared this as well at the time, saying: “Was helping this new guy find his office this morning…”.
In a five star review of season two, NME said: “As things get all the more intriguing by the minute, Severance is a show best watched on high alert. Enjoy the ride and let this unique show tease and titillate your brain until you finally submit.”
