Wayne Lineker to take O Beach Ibiza to National Heritage site in UK this summer
O Beach founder Wanye Lineker has announced that he will be bringing his Ibiza club to a National Heritage site in the UK this summer.
Lineker will bring his flagship club from the sunny beaches of the Spaniard island to Bolesworth Castle in Cheshire for a one-off weekend event from July 25 through 27.
As reported by Mixmag, the event is part of Cheshire’s Together Again festival. In an Instagram post shared by the official account of the music bash, festival organisers shared: “The O Beach Experience is landing in Cheshire. For one weekend only, get your dose of Ibiza and experience the iconic O beach parties at Together Again Festival.
“A premium pop up space with everything synonymous with O Beach including their immersive entertainment, iconic round beds, and a unifying dance floor ”
Mixmag also shared various mockup images of the “O Beach” experience that will be making its way to Cheshire. The draft designs feature a makeshift beach created outside of Bolesworth Castle with round beds, beach umbrellas and fake palm trees to really capture that Ibiza feel.
Jacuzzis will also be placed outside to replicate the same feeling of O Beach Ibiza’s famous central pool. There will also be cocktail bars and a stage where DJ will be performing on during the special weekend.
Speaking about the event in a statement, O Beach co-owner Tony Truman shared that they hope to “deliver the same quality that O Beach Ibiza has become known and loved for” (via Mixmag).
He continued: “We have been wanting to host an area at a UK festival for such a long time. We are excited to bring O Beach Ibiza to an absolutely perfect location.”
In other news, it has been announced that clubbers in Ibiza will be fined over £2,500 if they break the recently introduced regulations around alcohol in San Antonio.
