When is ‘Bridgerton’ season four coming out?

'Bridgerton' season three

The second half of the third season of Bridgerton is streaming on Netflix now, but when can fans expect to see season four?

Created by Chris Van Dusen, the period drama follows the fictional Bridgerton family as they navigate London high society in the early 1800s.

After two seasons and a spin-off, the show recently returned for a third season, with the first four episodes going live in May. Now, the remainder of the season has dropped on Netflix, with the final four episodes streaming as of June 13.

For the third season, Adjoa Andoh, Jonathan Bailey, Nicola Coughlan, Luke Newton, Claudia Jessie, Luke Thompson and Simone Ashley all reprise their roles. Hannah Dodd, meanwhile, takes over the role of Francesca Bridgerton after the original actor Ruby Stokes left the show during season two.

As before, the third season is chock full of orchestral covers of modern pop songs, with the inclusion of a version of Pitbull’s ‘Give Me Everything’ in a particularly steamy love scene in the back of a carriage between Penelope Featherington (Coughlan) and Colin Bridgerton (Netwon) recently going viral.

Such has been the success of Bridgerton for Netflix, they confirmed the third and fourth seasons of the show before the second season had even been released.

In April 2021, the streaming service made the announcement, saying “Bridgerton swept us off our feet,” adding that the creative team have “exciting plans for the future” and that they are “planning to be in the Bridgerton business for a long time to come” (via The Hollywood Reporter).

Season four does not currently have a confirmed release date, although it has been reported by Forbes that shooting for the season began in April 2024. It is predicted the new episodes will land in 2025.

Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton are both also confirmed to be returning in the fourth season (via The Wrap).
