When is ‘Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions’ coming to Switch?
Back when Hogwarts Legacy was released, players were curious why the game didn’t have Quidditch, especially as it is such an important part of the universe. Well, it may have been because WB Games were working on a separate Quidditch game in the form of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.
After releasing for every other platform, you may be wondering when a Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Switch version is coming. The good news is that it is on the way, you will just have to wait a little longer.
‘Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions’ Switch release date
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be released during the Holiday 2024 season on Nintendo Switch, according to the game’s official FAQ on the website.
No reason for the delay was given when compared to the game’s release, but we have to imagine a little more time was needed to port the game to the console and adjust for the handheld hardware, which is pretty dated at this point. Either way, it should be with you on your Switch in time for Christmas and the Holidays in December.
Once we have a more detailed breakdown of the game’s features on Switch and the full release date, we will update this guide.
Overall, the game has been received positively, although it does appear to have its issues. The game is currently sitting at a mixed 65 on Metacritic, with a number of those reviews sitting around the 50-70 range on the scale. Most concerns are due to the game’s longevity or balance, which should be resolved if a solid support plan is put in place.
The game was included as a part of the PS Plus September 2024 games, alongside a ton of other titles you can see here and grab if you have a PlayStation at home too.
