When is ‘Rick And Morty’ season eight coming out?
Despite cutting ties with co-creator Justin Roiland, Rick And Morty managed to emerge relatively unscathed by the transition in its seventh season.
The animated series, now complete with new voice actors Ian Cardoni and Harry Belden, follows cynical scientist Rick Sanchez and his grandson Morty Smith as they try to juggle family life with interdimensional adventures across infinite realities.

The series began in 2013 and has scored widespread acclaim, picking up two Emmys for Outstanding Animated Programme.
Do we know a release date for Rick And Morty season 8?
At the time of writing (June 17), there is no specific release date for the eighth season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the next series will debut sometime in 2025.
This means the show will not release any episodes in 2024, breaking its recent three-year streak of debuting new seasons annually. The reason for the delay is said to be last year’s writers strike, which held up production on the new episodes.
How many more seasons are planned?
Back in 2018, the show was renewed for 70 more episodes by Adult Swim – taking the show up until at least season 10.
If the main show isn’t enough, there’s an anime spin-off coming in 2024 from director Takashi Sano. The show, titled Rick And Morty: The Anime, builds upon various animated short films based on the series, only now it’s expanded across 10 episodes.
Speaking about the series, Sano said: “What I’ve tried to accomplish in these 10 episodes is to take all my favourite parts of watching Rick And Morty, compress them down to extract their essence, and then add a unique Japanese twist.”
