Which New Music Release Is Your Favorite This Week? Vote!
Thanks to A-list stars such as JENNIE, The Weeknd and Morgan Wallen, the last week of January is particularly stacked with big new music releases.
First, the BLACKPINK star brought fans one step closer to her debut solo album, Ruby — which arrives March 7 — by dropping new single “Love Hangover,” a laidback daydream of a pop tune featuring a fun rap verse courtesy of Dominic Fike. JENNIE also brought Charles Melton along for the ride, casting him as her leading man in the track’s comedic music video.
The K-pop star’s The Idol co-star also dropped new music this week, finally unveiling album Hurry Up Tomorrow after delaying the project’s release due to the wildfire crisis in Los Angeles County. Featuring cameos from Lana Del Rey, Anitta and Travis Scott, the sprawling LP serves as the long-awaited final installment in The Weeknd’s album trilogy that started with 2020’s After Hours and 2022’s Dawn FM.
Meanwhile, one of country’s biggest 21st-century stars is taking a hard look in the mirror with the contemplative “I’m the Problem” — but he’s not taking all the blame. Wallen spins the chorus of his newest single on its head by singing, “If I’m the problem, you might be the reason.”
Plus, Latto teamed up with Playboi Carti for “Blick Sum (Remix)” and Zach Bryan unveiled “Blue Jean Baby” as music fans also received new singles from EST Gee, L.S. Dunes, Jamie xx and more.
There’s a lot to choose from this week, but Billboard still wants to know which new music is your favorite. Cast your vote here.
