Who will die in ‘The White Lotus’ season three? Fans make their predictions
The White Lotus’ third season has kept viewers gripped ever since its debut on February 16. One mystery that has fans talking, however, is the identity of the body from episode one.
The show opened with a flash forward that saw Zion, the son of White Lotus Maui spa manager Belinda (Natasha Rothwell) join his mother on a visit to a sister location in Ko Samui, Thailand. His meditation session at the resort is interrupted by repeated gunfire nearby. While scrambling through a pond to look for his mother, Zion discovers a dead body.
The show then goes back one week to introduce us to the main cast for this season. However, with half of the episodes already aired, fans are sharing their theories as to whom the body might be.
One viewer believes it may be Belinda, due to her son finding the body and previous confrontations. “I think it’s Belinda bc wasn’t that her son who found the body,” they posted, “and she confronted Craig/Gary which made him really angry and the ending of the last ep kinda hinting at someone being in her room”.

Another believed that the evidence as to the identity is there in the show’s beginning. “My bet on who will die in The White Lotus S3 goes to Patrick Schwarzenegger or Jason Isaacs (you just have to watch the first episode)” they said. Isaacs plays Timothy Ratliff, a financier in trouble, and Schwarzenegger plays his son Saxon.

One theory goes into detail about their hunch. “White Lotus S3 theory – Valentin the trainer is in cahoots for the store robbery. Distracting the guard at the post so the robbers could drive in. Potential dead guy from Ep1”. Valentin is played by Lithuanian actor and boxer Arnas Fedaravicius.

Theories have circulated about the character of Thidapon “Mook” Sornsin, a health mentor for guests of the White Lotus, played by musician Lisa. With some already suspecting her character may be sinister, one fan wondered if she may be the body that was found.
My theory is that Mook dies at the end of White Lotus season 3. https://t.co/Zp6WTRqVAq

Surprisingly, the most common theory found online is regarding the shooter. Many posts have posited that the gunfire heard in the first episodes was from the resident monkeys on the island, who had gained access to guns and fired indiscriminately.
“White Lotus (S3) Theory: The monkeys done it”, said one, with another adding: “after tonight’s episode of the white lotus, “the monkeys do it” is the clear fan theory front runner for me”.

One fan thought that the unusual conclusion would be “the most White Lotus thing to ever White Lotus”, given the surreal twists of past seasons.
Whoever came up with the theory that it'll be a monkey with the gun at the end is probably right because that's the most White Lotus thing to ever White Lotus. https://t.co/pGkXUSZsEx

Recently, star Nicole Kidman said she “would do anything” to be cast in The White Lotus season four.
