Handwritten ‘Wonderwall’ lyrics, Noel Gallagher‘s guitar and a golf buggy are among some of the items of Oasis memorabilia currently going up for auction.

Over 60 items will soon be shown at the Propstore online auction, which claims on its website to boast “the largest collection of Oasis guitars ever offered at auction”. It comes after the band announced their highly-awaited return last week with a string of UK and Ireland stadium shows scheduled for 2025.

Marking their first activity as a band since their final gig and infamous split in 2009, they issued a statement to fans: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”

One of the 18 guitars featured in the auction – a custom Silver Sparkle Gibson Les Paul Florentine Noel Gallagher once proclaimed was the “best in the world” – is estimated to sell for somewhere between £200,000 to £400,000.

Elsewhere, his handwritten lyrics to ‘Wonderwall’ are expected to sell for between £4,000 and £8,000, with another set featuring ‘Live Forever’ and ‘Supersonic’ lyrics, as well as the signatures of both brothers, expected to sell for around £3,000 to £6,000.

Other items of interest include a tambourine Liam used on stage, and a golf buggy given to Noel by then-wife Meg Matthews, which he used to get around their Buckinghamshire estate.

Painted in psychedelic swirls just like John Lennon’s Rolls Royce Phantom V limousine, the golf buggy is expected to sell for between £5,000 and £10,000.

All items will be available to view at the Together We’ll Fly exhibition at the Cumberland Hotel from October 18 until October 20, with proceeds from the event supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Mark Hochman, Propstore’s music and poster specialist said (via Sky News): “This auction provides a unique opportunity for people to connect with the legacy of Oasis and we can’t wait to see these iconic items become part of new collections that will celebrate them for years to come.”

In other Oasis news, Liam Gallagher today (September 6) made his return to Twitter/X, and has already started to poke fun at the ticket scandal that surrounded the Oasis reunion, which is now subject to a CMA government enquiry.
