Ye & Ty Dolla $ign Release ‘Vultures 2’ Deluxe With Three New Songs Featuring Peso Pluma, Kid Cudi & Kodak Black

Oh my God, they’re back again. Ye (formerly Kanye West) and Ty Dolla $ign are spinning the block with hours in the tracking week to spare for the release of another Vultures 2 deluxe edition featuring three new songs.

Some fan-favorite leaks from the Vultures era were released as deluxe tracks on Thursday (Aug. 8) with “Gun to My Head” featuring Kid Cudi, “Believer” and “Drunk,” which boasts Peso Pluma replacing Bad Bunny’s verse alongside another cameo from Kodak Black.

Each track is available as a separate deluxe edition on Yeezy’s website for $5 each. “ALL SONGS ARE GETTING LIVE UPDATES UNTIL FINALIZED INCLUDING DELUXE TRACKS,” Yeezy Chief of Staff Eric Cui wrote to his Instagram Story.

Vultures 2 is currently in competition with Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department for the top spot on next week’s Billboard 200 and team Yeezy is doing what they can in an attempt to topple T-Swift.

If Ye and Ty Dolla $ign pull off the feat and debut at No. 1, it will be West’s 12th album to hit the Billboard 200 apex.

The trio of tracks come on the heels of the first deluxe, which landed on Wednesday (Aug. 7) with “Take Off Your Dress” becoming available on the Yeezy website. None of the four deluxe tracks have hit streaming services yet.

It appears there is another hurdle in the way for Ye and Ty. West posted an alleged text message from his manager, John Monopoly, saying that Atlantic Records is threatening to pull down both Vultures albums off streaming if they are not paid 40 percent of all revenue. Billboard has reached out to Ye’s reps for comment.

“Co-head of Atlantic Julie Greenwald just called me She just got fired She said the new head is not going to give us a grace period to handle Atlantic’s compensation She suggested I let [distributors] Too Lost and Create know that 40 percent of all revenue from V1 and V2 needs to be paid to Atlantic She’s saying that if we don’t handle immediately Atlantic will issue take downs for both albums Pls advise,” he wrote.

Billboard reported on Tuesday (Aug. 6) that Julie Greenwald would be stepping down from her role of chairman/CEO of Atlantic Records and replaced by 10k Projects CEO Elliot Grainge, effective Oct. 1.
