Zoë Kravitz praises Taylor Swift’s ability to be “normal” during ‘Eras’ tour
Zoë Kravitz has come out to gush about friend Taylor Swift in a new interview.
Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon last Thursday (August 22), Kravitz spoke about her admiration for Swift’s ability to be “normal” despite being busy with her record-breaking ‘Eras’ tour.
“It’s crazy,” Kravitz tells host Fallon. “I mean, I’m not surprised, because Taylor is scary talented at everything she does, so it’s not surprising that she’s so good.”
The actress and Blink Twice director was in London with fiancé Channing Tatum for one of Taylor’s eight Wembley Stadium shows.
She adds that she managed to grab some time with the singer between dates. “After she performs for many thousands of people, she just comes over after, we drink some wine, and like, eat a burger and hang out,” Kravitz reveals. “You would just never know that she just performed at Wembley.” Watch the interview clip below.
“There are a lot of famous people who like, don’t let you forget that they’re famous, you know what I mean?” she continued. “Like, they just… they bring Wembley home with them, if that makes sense. She really just turns into a normal person. It’s pretty crazy.”
Yesterday (August 23), Swift posted an Instagram Story with her rave review for Kravitz’s Blink Twice, which stars Tatum and Naomi Ackie. “This film is incredible,” she wrote. “Thrilling, twisted, wickedly funny, and visually stunning.”
She praised the performances of Tatum and Ackie as “phenomenal”, and Kravitz for directing it with “such a clear and bold vision.”
This week, in honour of her eight shows at the venue, Wembley Stadium awarded Swift with her own personalised “Wembley guitar”.
“In recognition of becoming the first solo artist to play Wembley Stadium eight times on a single tour, we gifted Taylor Swift her own personalised Wembley Guitar,” they write on X (formerly Twitter). “So long, Taylor. It was enchanting”.
